About
I'm an HTL graduate who would rather run the infrastructure than just talk about it.
I just finished the HTL Villach, in the network engineering and cybersecurity branch, with my Matura. The throughline across all of it is the same: build something real, then keep it running under load.
Alongside that I work on valiora, a grocery price-comparison platform a small team is building in cooperation with Arbeiterkammer Kärnten. My part is the AI infrastructure behind it.
When I’m not on valiora, I’m in my homelab: a three-node Proxmox cluster with a remote quorum device, self-hosted AI models, and the kind of networking setup that lets a sleeping GPU server wake on demand over an encrypted tunnel.

valiora
Spend less on the same groceries.
valiora aggregates digital grocery flyers from Austrian supermarkets, normalizes thousands of products with AI, and tells you which store rings up your shopping list for the least money. Built in cooperation with Arbeiterkammer Kärnten as a consumer-protection tool, not an ad business.

Third place at the Innovation@School competition, awarded at the inno-Gala. Out of 50+ submitted entries, one of 12 finalists, finishing 3rd. As reported by ORF Kärnten.

Selected for the social-impact program of the SILC idea competition (University of Klagenfurt). Currently in progress.
Homelab
A real, self-administered cluster, not a tutorial follow-along. Three nodes vote, one of them lives 600 km away, and the GPU only wakes up when there’s work to do.
Two sites. The local site runs two Proxmox VE nodes, work (compute) and mgmt (management), one vote each. The remote site, 600 km away on Hetzner Cloud, runs the quorum device, hetzner, with the third vote. The sites are linked by an encrypted WireGuard tunnel.

- Self-hosted monitoring and status page for every service.
- Vector DB + Embeddings
- Self-hosted embedding model and vector database, the testbed for valiora’s planned semantic product matching.
- OpenCLAW · self-hosted AI
- Open-source agentic AI assistant running locally with a shared GPU on the work node. Data stays on my own hardware.
- Wake-on-LAN
- GPU server sleeps until needed, then boots on demand. Power-aware by design.
- WireGuard Tunnel
- Encrypted FRITZ!Box ↔ Hetzner link for secure remote access and the WoL trigger.
